Transition Events

Transition Days – Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th June 2026
Two full transition days give students the chance to experience school life first-hand, meet their teachers, and begin building friendships.

 

Parent Information Evening – Tuesday 30th June 2026
This evening provides an opportunity for you to meet key staff, learn more about the start of term, and ask any questions.

 

Summer School – Monday 10th to Friday 14th August 2026
Our optional Summer School helps students build confidence, make friends, and become more familiar with the school. Once your child’s place has been confirmed, you can book by contacting burgessn@wellandparkacademy.com.

 

First Day of School – Wednesday 26th August 2026
On this day, only the new Year 7 cohort will be in school. This gives your child the opportunity to settle in, revisit expectations, and get to know the layout of the school before the rest of the year groups return the following day.
