Welland Park Academy is an approved examination centre to run GCSE examinations for Awarding Bodies that fall under the JCQ.

This section of our website will give you vital, up to date, information on examination rules and regulations, as well as examination timetables, general information, policies, letters, parent/student examination guides, results day dates and much more, so please visit this page regularly clicking on the links below, especially leading up to and during the examination season, mocks included.

We also have an Exams Notice Board within School which will display important information including, timetables, exam dates, equipment list, etc during mock and GCSE examination periods. This can be found on the outside wall opposite the Exams Office next to the front metal gates and can be referred to by students at any time.

Summer 2025 certificate collection information

Certificates are available for collection by candidates, without an appointment, from Monday 1st December 2025 until Friday 19th December 2025 between 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am and 4.00pm on Fridays, from the main Reception Office. Please note that on Friday 19th December reception will be closing at 12.30pm.

Collection of certificates after 19th December 2025 must be arranged via an email to myself at examsofficer.wp@wellandparkacademy.com, stating when the candidate would like to collect.

If the candidate is unable to collect certificates in person, they must complete and return the certificate collection permission form listed below, indicating their preferred method.  

Checking certificates
On collection, candidates (or a third party collecting on their behalf) should carefully check that their personal information (name, date of birth, etc.) is correct and that the correct final grade(s) issued is/are shown. Candidates/third parties will be required to sign a form confirming that they have collected certificates and they are correct.
