Welcome to the Phoenix Dining Hall.
Our catering operation offers something for everyone from a breakfast snack for that mid-morning boost to our varied lunchtime offer of up to seven options, including traditional hot meals, the very best in snack foods, sandwiches and paninis. Do not forget to visit our FREE salad bar to make the meal complete.
For only £3.00 students can enjoy our 'Meal Deal' with a traditional hot meal together with a hot or cold sweet. This is complemented with a range of fully-compliant drinks, including flavoured waters and fruit juice. To view all price lists please click on the documents listed at the foot of this page.
Meal payments are made through our cashless system which offers both a worry-free service for our parents and a quick, efficient transaction through our tills. Remember that you can monitor your account balance and your child's school meal history by logging onto your Parent Pay account via the link below.
Our Chef/Catering Manager, works very closely with Miss Bond, Head of D & T, on the School Food Champion Programme, which is open to secondary schools in England and has been developed to support the specific actions identified in the School Food Plan commissioned by the Department for Education. In addition, many of our students have benefited from the opportunity to work behind the counters in our kitchen, gaining valuable experience within the catering business.
